Partizan NIS picked up Corey Walden, the Serbian club announced on Wednesday. The 26-year-old American guard is set to debut in 7DAYS EuroCup.
The Eastern Kentucky alumni is coming off a great season with UNET Holon, his second with the Israeli side. He was named the Super League MVP and included in the All-Super League First Team.
Walden averaged 18.6 points, 5.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals per Regular Season match. He also notched 17 points, 4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2 steals per game in the Playoffs.
He also competed in the 2018-19 edition of the Basketball Champions League. He had 13.8 points, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest.
Before making his way to Israel, he led Filou Oostende to the Belgian championship and the Belgian Cup in his first European campaign. Walden previously kicked off his professional career through the G League during the 2015-16 season.
