Unicaja Malaga signed Melvin Ejim to a one-year contract with an option for an additional season, the Spanish side announced on Thursday. The Canadian-Nigerian forward is set for his fourth 7DAYS EuroCup campaign and his first in Spain.
The Iowa State alumni spent the last two seasons with UNICS Kazan. Last year he averaged 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per EuroCup game, also had 7.9 points per Regular Season match and 9.9 points per contest in the VTB United League.
Ejim previously competed in Italy with Reyer Venezia, in the G League with the Erie Bayhawks and in Italy with the Virtus Roma. The 2019-20 season will be the sixth of his professional career.
