Mantas Kalnietis signed a one-year deal with Lokomotiv Kuban, the club announced. The 32-year-old Lithuanian guard returns to Russia and Lokomotiv after four years.

Mantas Kalnietis defended the colors of “red-green” for three years (from 12/13 to 14/15) and throughout this time he was one of the key players in the team. With him, Loko won the EuroCup in the 2012/13 season and made its Euroleague debut a year later.
Last season, Mantas Kalnietis was the starting point guard for ASVEL, France. In 19 EuroCup matches he averaged 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 0.9 interceptions. Mantas Kalnietis is a two-time silver medalist of the European Championship (2013, 2015), a bronze medalist of the World Championship (2010), a four-time champion of Lithuania (2007, 2008, 2011, 2012) and the champion of Italy (2018).
