After recovering from a torn ACL and a short stint with Alma Trieste, Zoran Dragic will continue his career with ratiopharm Ulm and return to 7DAYS EuroCup after eight years.

Veteran swingman Zoran Dragic is returning to his roots in the 7DAYS EuroCup after being signed to join ratiopharm Ulm for the coming season. Dragic (1.96 meters, 30 years old) debuted in the EuroCup with Krka Novo Mesto in his native Slovenia back in the 2011-12 season, averaging 11.2 points, 4-8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He moved up from there to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, spending two seasons with Unicaja Malaga of Spain, then one each with Khimki Moscow Region of Russia, AX Armani Exchange Milan of Italy and Anadolu Efes Istanbul of Turkey. All told, he has averaged 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 105 career EuroLeague games. Dragic also spent the 2014-15 season between Phoenix and Miami of the NBA, as well as Sioux Falls of the NBA G League.

Of course, I know him very well from his time with the national team and I know that he will help our team in many ways,” Ulm coach Jaka Lakovic said. “He is an absolute leader and, above all, has a strong attacking game and outstanding quality on defense.”
