Lokomotiv Kuban announced the addition of Johnny O’Bryant III on Wednesday. The 26-year-old American forward/center was expected to sign with the Russian side after turning down Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv’s offer for a contract extension.
O’Bryant averaged 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per EuroLeague match last year. However, the upcoming campaign will bring him to 7DAYS EuroCup.
The LSU alumni helped Maccabi capture the Israeli Super League as well. He posted 9.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per match.
Before making his way to the old continent, O’Bryant participated in 148 NBA games with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Denver Nuggets and the Charlotte Hornets. He also saw action in the G League during the 2016-17 season.
