Darussafaka Tekfen has been very active during the offseason and they’ve added another player to the roster for the 2019-20 season – the Puerto Rican guard Gary Browne.

Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul improved its backcourt by inking guard Gary Browne to a one-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Browne (1.85 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Atleticos de San German, where he averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 4 Puerto Rican League games last season. He started the 2018-19 season with Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona of Israel, averaging 14.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 36 league games. Browne has also played for Maratonistas de Coamo of Puerto Rico. He has also been a member of the Puerto Rican national team, averaging 9.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 5 World Cup games this summer. Browne is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Darussafaka in the 2019-20 season.
