Although Cedevita Olimpija had a double-digit lead in the third quarter, UNICS Kazan managed to bounce back and grab an 80-67 home win in 7DAYS EuroCup Round 2.
Jamar Smith led the way with 21 points while Alex Tyus added 13 and Errick McCollum 11 points. For Cedevita Olimpija, Marko Simonovic scored 13 and Ryan Boatright 11 points.
Cedevita Olimpija was ahead 15-12 after ten minutes but UNICS had a 38-35 lead. The guests dominated early in the second half reaching a 13-points advantage (60-47) but the Russian side answered with 15 straight points (62-60) and eventually won the game.
Yesterday (9/10), Jarod Jones and Jonathan Hamilton led Darussafaka Tekfen to win over Nanterre 92 while Joventut bounced back by prevailing over Germani Brescia.
