Joventut Badalona wing Shawn Dawson suffered a complete rupture of his left leg’s Achilles tendon, the Spanish club announced. The player will undergo surgery on Wednesday (30/10) and his recovery will take from six to eight months.
Dawson, 25, got injured in Tuesday’s (29/10) EuroCup away win of his team over Cedevita Olimpija. It was the Israeli swingman’s first match in eight months since he had sustained a season-ending ACL injury in February, during a Spanish ACB League game vs. Gran Canaria.
