Errick McCollum sealed the deal for UNICS Kazan against Darussafaka at the final buzzer and the Russian side escaped from Istanbul with a 79-77 victory.
McCollum exited the game with 8 points in total, though UNICS’ leader in this contest was Raymar Morgan, who posted a game-high performance of 18 points, three rebounds and two assists.
UNICS now moves up to a 4-1 record and leads Group C standings halfway through the regular season.
Earlier this week in Round 5, both Brescia and Joventut made crucial steps towards the Top 16 round with respective victories against Nanterre and Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana.
