With two seconds remaining, Deon Thompson found the net and gave Unicaja Malaga a tough 82-81 victory against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica in Round 6 of 7DAYS EuroCup.
Axel Toupane led Unicaja‘s efforts with 17 points, three rebounds and three assists, while Thompson exited the court with 10 points and four rebounds.
Buducnost suffered yet another defeat, though had Justin Cobbs posting a game-high performance with 26 points and five assists.
Earlier in Round 6, EWE Baskets Oldenburg defeated Asseco Arka Gdynia, while Dolomiti Energia Trento beat Galatasaray on the road.
