Segafredo Virtus Bologna defeated Maccabi Rishon LeZion 85-79 to grab its Top 16 ticket and remain the leader of Group A.
Julian Gamble and Milos Teodosic were the Italians’ key players, adding 18 and 19 points each, while Alex Hamilton posted a 19-point performance for Maccabi Rishon.
Earlier on Wednesday, AS Monaco prevailed over visiting Promitheas Patras with an 80-59 victory in Round 7 of 7DAYS EuroCup’s regular season, paced by Dee Bost. Despite the defeat, Promitheas will also join Virtus Bologna in the Top 16 round.
Bost posted 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, leading his team in scoring. On the other end of the court, Dimitris Agravanis tapped 12 points for the visiting team.
Earlier in Round 7, Andorra took one step towards the Top 16 round by downing Ulm.
