Aaron Craft suffered a meniscus injury in his right knee and will undergo a surgical procedure which is expected to keep him sidelined for three to four weeks, Dolomiti Energia Trento announced.
The Ohio State alumni was injured during Tuesday’s home match versus Buducnost VOLI. Aside losing Craft, the Italian team was defeated in the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season Round 7 affair.
Trento fell to 3-4, is forced to attempt to advance to Top 16 without its floor general. The 28-year-old American was averaging 8.3 points, 7.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 steals per appearance.
