With Ken Horton out for about eight weeks, Germani Brescia Leonessa added Ojars Silins, the Italian team informed via press release. The Latvian forward inked a two-month contract.
Silins has been a free agent since the beginning of the 2019-20 season, but no stranger to 7DAYS EuroCup nor LBA Serie A. Previously competed in 34 EuroCup games between Italian sides, Reggio Emilia and Trento, last year went from Trieste to Avellino, again in Italy. Other professional foreign experience includes Germany.
Brescia is currently 4-4 in Group C of EuroCup battling for a spot in the Top 16. As for the Italian league, Vincenzo Esposito’s squad is 6-5.
