Evgeny Pashutin has agreed to a deal with Lokomotiv Kuban, the club announced. This will be his second coaching stint with the club.
Pashutin coached Lokomotiv for two years in the past (2012-14) leading the squad to a 7DAYS EuroCup title in 2013. Recently, the 50-year-old coached Avtodor Saratov and Pallacanestro Cantu. He was also inducted in the VTB United League’s Hall of Fame earlier this year.
Lokomotiv has two important games coming up in 7DAYS EuroCup against Partizan and TOFAS as they try to grab a playoff spot. They hold a 3-5 record and are fifth in Group B behind Rytas Vilnius who shares the same record.
