Alessandro Gentile’s 37-point performance helped Dolomiti Energia Trento defeat Asseco Arka Gdynia 85-78 on the road and are closer to EuroCup’s Top 16 round.
Gentile saved the day for Trento in the final period and led the team with a PIR of 39 (14-22 FG, five rebounds and two assists).
On the other end of the court, Josh Bostic added 17 points and six rebounds for the home team.
Earlier in Round 9, Buducnost Voli Podgorica grabbed a 94-78 morale-boosting victory against Galatasaray, while Unicaja Malaga made short work of EWE Baskets at home.
