UNICS Kazan extended Jamil Wilson’s for another month, the Russian team noted via social media on Monday. The Oregon and Marquette alum was added in late October on a two-month contract.
Under Dimitris Priftis’ guidance, Wilson helped his team make it through to 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16 with 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest over five Regular Season appearances. Also averaged 1.8 points, 3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per VTB United League contest.
EuroCup Top 16 will feature UNICS against AS Monaco, Galatasaray Doga Sigorta and Rytas Vilnius. The top two teams will advance to the playoffs. As for VTB, the Russian club is currently fifth in the standings with a 6-5 W-L record.
