Galatasaray defeated AS Monaco on the road and started off their 2020 duties with an 85-73 victory.
Zach August and Tai Webster led the winning side with 17 and 18 points each, while three more scorers finished the game in double digits. Monaco’s Eric Buckner posted a game-high performance of 20 points and 7 rebounds.
Galatasaray took control in the second half, outscoring their hosts, after a fairly balanced game in the first.
Earlier today, Unics Kazan outlasted Rytas Vilnius with a surge in the last two minutes of the game in Vilnius and grabbed a 91-86 victory.
Errick McCollum shined once again, leading the Russian side with 20 points, three rebounds and three assists. On the other end of the court, Eimantas Bendzius and Mindaugas Girdziunas posted 15 points each.
