Joventut Badalona outlasted an epic battle against MoraBanc Andorra and grabbed a 90-87 victory in Round 1 of the Top 16 phase of EuroCup.
Andorra was in charge for most of the game, until the hosts started their comeback in the fourth period and Klemen Prepelic (6 points) tied the score to 84 points with a little over a minute to go. Conar Morgan put the hosts ahead and they kept their lead until the end en route to the win.
Nikos Zisis posted 19 points for the winning squad, followed by Alen Omic who tapped 16 points and 11 boards.
David Walker added a game-high performance for Andorra with 26 points.
On Tuesday, Tofas Bursa outlasted Unicaja Malaga and got an 84-82 victory.
