This Christmas, Eurohoops Dome welcome children for a unique experience of training and fun, through two separate training programs
Eurohoops Academy takes every opportunity to combine training with fun, offering opportunities to youngsters for personal improvement during the holidays. This year’s Eurohoops Camps | XMAS Edition will exclusively take place in one period (30/12/2024 and 2-3/1/2025) and includes the training programs of FUNdamentals Camp and the Shooting Camp at the Eurohoops Dome. Under the supervision of the Technical Director of the Eurohoops Academy, Konstantinos Meletis, Eurohoops Camps provide a unique opportunity to learn basic skills and techniques of basketball, while the Director of the Eurohoops Academy and EuroLeague Legend, Thodoris Papaloukas, always has surprises in store for the children, adding to an exceptional experience.

FUNdamentals Camp: Discover basketball fundamentals through the game!
Based on the principles of Mini Basketball, the FUNdaments Camp is designed to instill in children the love of basketball and, at the same time, to develop them physically, technically, and mentally. The training plan combines sports activities and fun, aiming to teach youngsters the fundamental principles of the sport. The structure of the program emphasizes teamwork and developing partnerships between two and three players. This approach not only improves the physical condition of the children but also introduces them to the core values of basketball, promoting team spirit. The FUNdamentals Camp is aimed at male and female athletes between the ages of 6 and 12. It takes place at the Eurohoops Dome. It lasts four hours daily (10:00-14:00) for three days, while there is also the possibility of extra hours of child-sitting (8:00-10:00 and/ or 14:00-17:00).
Shooting Camp: Learn secrets to improve your shot, while having fun!
Youngsters at the Shooting Camp will learn the secrets of shooting through a specialized training program adapted to various conditions of the game. The drill focuses on practicing ball handling, rhythm, and mechanics of execution, as well as a combination of movements for the ideal application of the shot in match situations. Having fun in educational exercises, the kids practice accuracy while enjoying the game and boosting their confidence on the court. During training sessions of more experienced participants, the state-of-the-art Shooting Machine of Dr. Dish is available, upgrading the overall experience. The program is suitable for athletes between the ages of 6 and 18. It takes place in Eurohoops Dome. It lasts one hour daily (14:30-15:30) for three days.
Information
- All programs provide a T-shirt and a certificate of participation. A nutritious snack is also provided at FUNdamentals Camp.
- For participation in the Eurohoops Camps | XMAS Edition each athlete must present a medical certificate or athlete health card. Throughout his training, there is supervision by a lifeguard.
