Vasilije Micic did not take part in Anadolu Efes‘ game against OGM Ormanspor on Sunday (12/1) and as coach Ergin Ataman mentioned in the post-game press conference, he is doubtful for Tuesday’s game against Olimpia Milano.
Micic suffered an injury during practice and is still recovering. “Micic is still injured. I guess he will miss the game again”, Ataman mentioned.
Efes will look to exceed its three-game streak against Milano, a tough opponent as Ataman mentions. “In EuroLeague, every game is important. We will first play against Olimpia Milano. We had beaten them earlier but they are a pretty dangerous team. They are built for Final Four. We have to play solid creating an amazing atmosphere here”.
Apart from Micic, Shane Larkin, Chris Singleton, and Krunoslav Simon sat Sunday’s BSL game out to rest for the double-game week in EuroLeague for Rounds 19 and 20.
