CSKA Moscow resisted feisty Valencia on Thursday evening for Round 21 of EuroLeague but saw power forward Andrey Vorontsevich going out with an ankle injury during the warm-up. As stated by the club, he is set to miss several upcoming games due to a twisted ankle.
Vorontsevich will have to undergo a recovery plan with the club’s medical and coaching staff and the estimated time of his return will be decided as the recovery progresses.
This season he averages 3.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in over 13 minutes on the court.
