KIROLBET Baskonia strengthened its backcourt with the American point guard Semaj Christon who signed for the rest of the season, the club announced.
Christon started the season in France with CSP Limoges averaging 16.5 points, 7.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks over 18 games split between the French League and 7DAYS EuroCup.
The 27-year-old missed some games due to injury problems earlier this season (late November, December) but returned to court at the start of the new year and has passed all the necessary medical tests for Baskonia.
Baskonia is currently 13th in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with an 8-13 record (two wins behind the playoff zone) while in Spain, they are 10th with 9-10.
