Olympiacos is looking to boost its efforts this season and they will count on Octavius Ellis to bring in the energy with a deal for the rest of the season.

Seeking to boost its chances in the race for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs, Olympiacos Piraeus has announced the signing of big man Octavius Ellis for the rest of this season and the next one. Ellis (2.08 meters, 26 years old) has played all of this season with fellow Greek squad Promitheas Patras, with whom he has averaged 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in the 7DAYS EuroCup. He comes off season-best numbers of 21 points and 29 performance index rating in his last EuroCup game with Promitheas, a 68-70 home loss to Umana Reyer Venice last week. Ellis has previously played for Enisey Krasnoyarsk in Russia and Mornar Bar of Montenegro.
