Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup games this week will have a moment of silence held before the tip-off in memory of Kobe Bryant and Robert Archibald, who both died in recent days.
“A moment of silence will be held for Robert Archibald and Kobe Bryant’s memory prior to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 22 and 7DAYS EuroCup TOP 16 Round 4 games this week” EuroLeague Basketball’s announcement says.
Bryant, 41, was killed in the Calabasas helicopter crash while Archibald – the only Scottish player to make it to the NBA – passed away at the age of 39. The cause of death wasn’t made official.
