Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that star guard Scottie Wilbekin has signed a three-year extension with the club. Wilbekin will thus stay with Maccabi until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Wilbekin has averaged 16.3 points, 3.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 26:43 minutes over 20 games in EuroLeague this season. Maccabi is currently fifth in the standings at 15-7 and on course to a playoffs return for the first time since 2015.

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv signed Scottie Wilbekin for the next three years, which means until the end of the 2022/3 season. The Yellows’ outstanding guard based himself as one of the best guards in Europe this season, as the team leader on the court and is considered to be one of the yellows’ fans favorites.

Scottie Wilbekin leads Maccabi in the Euroleague this season in minutes per game (26:43), points (16.3), assists (3.5), steals (1.3), three-points made (first Euroleague) and index (rated 11 Euroleague).
In the local league, No. 1 in yellow&blue plays 24.6 minutes per night on average, leading the team in points (14), three points percentage (45.8 percent, fifth in the league) and assists (5.2, seventh in the league). This season he took part in 12 games, all of them won, and already managed to score 26 points against Jerusalem, 30 against Holon and 35 vs Gilboa/Galil.
