Real Madrid will have forward Anthony Randolph available in the upcoming EuroLeague away game against Maccabi Tel Aviv for Round 22 of the regular season. He’s expected to make his 2020 debut vs. the Israeli team.
“Randolph practiced normally this week and we think he will be able to play,” Real Madrid coach Pablo Laso said, per AS. The American player had been sidelined with a muscle injury in the right soleus muscle in early January.
Real will look to return to wins in EuroLeague following back-to-back losses to CSKA Moscow and Khimki Moscow on the road plus Anadolu Efes at home. Maccabi won’t be an easy opponent. “It’s the most solid team,” Laso said. “Giannis Sfairopoulos has changed [them] a lot. They display a lot of defensive energy and have very athletic players in all positions. Wilbekin is very decisive in one vs. one and they have very big players at the “3” like Yovel Zoosman, Deni Avdija, and Angelo Caloiaro.”
