EuroLeague pays tribute to Kobe Bryant

EuroLeague clubs and players have come together in Round 22 to celebrate the legacy of Kobe Bryant. After the news of Bryant’s passing, EuroLeague Basketball announced that a moment of silence will be held, in honor both to Bryant and Robert Archibald.

All Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup games started with consecutive 8 and 24-second violations while on most occasions the fans also paid their own tribute.

FC Barcelona’s Alex Abrines geared up with custom made shoes for Round 22’s game vs. Zenit St. Petersburg.

Maccabi and Barcelona players had their own messages on their shoes and Zalgiris’ Arturas Milanknis did the same

CSKA Moscow and Khimki Moscow paid tribute with their warmup jerseys, while they also conducted 8 and 24-second violations at the beginning of it in honor of Kobe.

Not only EuroLeague but all major European competitions and players have paid their respective tributes, with a moment of silence being held before all EuroCup, Basketball Champions League, and FIBA Europe Cup games this week.
