CSKA Moscow’s Janis Strelnieks has started practicing with the squad and is expected to return against Anadolu Efes in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 23.
“My thigh is feeling better, the training went well. Efes is now in excellent shape, is on the run, has achieved seven consecutive victories. It will be a difficult game, but good for the fans. They will be interested to see the best basketball in Europe,” Strelnieks said, per CSKA’s official website.
The 30-year-old was ruled out indefinitely at the start of the year due to a hamstring injury in his left leg. He averaged 8.3 points over 27 games in EuroLeague and VTB League before getting sidelined.
