Khimki Moscow signed forward/center Thomas Robinson to a one-month contract with an extension option for the remainder of the season, the Russian club announced. The American player had previously played with the team in 2017-2018.
Robinson, 28, began the season in China with the Sichuan Blue Whales. Like all other foreign players of CBA, he left the country due to the coronavirus outbreak. He had averaged 16.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in 11 games.
Khimki was considering adding Robinson following the injury of forward Jeremy Evans. Robinson, a five-year NBA veteran, had 8.2 points and 5.8 rebounds in 15:34 minutes over 20 EuroLeague games in his previous stint with the team.
