Olympiacos announced the addition of Shaquielle McKissic on Monday. Eurohoops previously reported that the Arizona State alum was finalizing a deal with the Greek powerhouse after leaving Besiktas Sompo Sigorta.
Following his time in Basketball Champions League and 7DAYS EuroCup, McKissic jumps to EuroLeague. Earned his spot in Europe’s premier club competition midway through his fifth campaign in the Old Continent.
The Reds were looking for a boost through their recent injury woes. The new addition finds Giorgos Bartzokas’ squad trailing the playoffs field by one win at 10-14.
With Besiktas, McKissic competed in 13 BCL tilts this season averaging 16.6 points, 4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.1 steals per appearance. Also posted 17.6 points per BSL contest.
There is still a transfer ban for Olympiacos in place by EuroLeague, but the situation was expected to be resolved.
