Anadolu Efes center Bryant Dunston is projected to make his return to action in two weeks. The American big man has been out for more than three months with a foot injury.
“He [Bryant Dunston] came with us with the doctor for the last check,” Efes coach Ergin Ataman said after the road win over Bayern Munich. “After four months, they told him that starting tomorrow, he can start to practice with the team. I hope that in two weeks he’ll be ready to also play in games for us.”
Dunston was actually registered in the 12-man squad of Efes for the game vs. the German team.
“This is important. He’s an important player for us,” Ataman added.
Dunston averaged 11.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, two assists, 1.6 blocks and one steal in the seven EuroLeague games he played this season before getting sidelined in early November.
