CSKA Moscow is interested in Ryan Broekhoff but, although they are engaged in talks, the sides are still far from an agreement.
The EuroLeague transfer deadline is tomorrow (February 26) and furthermore, CSKA would have to cut a player in order to add Broekhoff. So, while there is interest, a potential deal seems like a long shot.
The 29-year-old Australian forward started the season in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks but was waived on February 11. He played 17 games including one and averaged 4.2 points and 2.5 boards in slightly over ten minutes of play.
The interest of CSKA was first reported by Sportando’s Emiliano Carchia.
