Olympiacos sent a request to EuroLeague Basketball asking for the Round 29 game against Olimpia Milano on Thursday in Italy to be postponed or relocated.
The Greek club has suggested Rome, Genoa or another country for the potential alternative locations and informed that the squad would travel by a charter flight on the same day as the match.
Northern Italy has been under quarantine, however, the Milan airport is open and a professional club can go in and out of the Lombardy region with no problems.
At the same time, Greece has stopped all flights to the northern regions of Italy but in theory, Olympiacos would be able to get there indirectly. By traveling to another country first (for example Switzerland) and then to Milano, or fly directly to another city in Italy (outside the quarantined areas) and then take land transportation to the final destination.
