Olympiacos has permitted its foreign players to leave Greece, in light of the EuroLeague shut down due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak across the globe.
Players are freed of their team obligations and until further notice, they are allowed to return home since no games or team practices will take place anytime soon, at least in the next few weeks.
The Reds are the second EuroLeague team to allow its players to leave following Zalgiris, while there have been departures from Panathinaikos as well, with Rick Pitino and Jimmer Fredette leaving Greece indefinitely.
More teams around Europe, especially in Italy, have also given permission to their players to depart, mainly for the US.
