The coronavirus pandemic has suspended basketball action all around Europe and the world including the competitions featuring LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne. Foreign players of the French club are now permitted to leave the country and return home, according to BeBasket.
Olympiacos and Zalgiris Kaunas previously freed its imports from team obligations with the 2019-20 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season paused to prevent the COVID-19 spread. No games or team practices are scheduled for either side.
More teams outside Europe’s premier club competition have allowed players to return home as well, mainly for the USA.
