Olympiacos announced that Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, the owners of the club, decided to donate 1,000,000 euros for Greece’s National Health System (NHS).
Per Olympiacos:
In order to effectively support the country’s National Health System, as well as its medical and nursing staff at the forefront of the battle in the unprecedented crisis we face, we have decided to donate 1,000,000 euros to cover the equipment and therapy costs of the Intensive Care Units (ICU). The aforementioned amount will be deposited directly and made available through the SYN-ENOSIS Greek Shipowners’ Social Welfare Company.
We believe that our contribution is needed today more than ever.
