Fenerbahce President Ali Koc addressed the public Wednesday, confirming that six members of the organization (staff and players) had experienced coronavirus symptoms, with only administrative manager Cenk Renda remaining hospitalized.
“I would like to inform you about our Fenerbahçe Beko team. For EuroLeague matches, some of our athletes and technical staff who have a history abroad have seen symptoms. As a result of the tests carried out in this context, six people, not all of them are athletes, had shown symptoms. Samples were sent to the Ministry of Health. When the information comes, we will inform you and the public”, he mentioned. “Fortunately, no one is obliged to stay in the hospital, except for our former captain and administrative manager Cenk Renda.”
The Fenerbahce President further stated that the team’s staff will not be asked to take salary cuts or cuts in their leave due to the lockdown.
