FC Bayern Munich’s Danilo Barthel and Paul Zipser joined the club’s managing director, Marko Pesic, in assisting at the Muenchner Tafel charity organization on Thursday and distributed food to people in need in the city of Munich.
The club’s president, Herbert Hainer, also made a €10,000 donation to representatives from the Muenchner Tafel in addition to joining players in this cause.
“FC Bayern is always socially involved, and when I heard that the basketball players would be going to the Muenchner Tafel, I spontaneously said I would help out. Because the fact that they want to use their privileged standing to help people, especially now during the corona crisis, is fantastic and very important,” Hainer said, per euroleague.net.
