The Appeals Committee of the Euroleague closed the case between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, which concerned the accusations of bribery after the 2018 clash (9/11) in OAKA.
The EuroLeague judge dismissed the case twice due to the lack of evidence while in-between CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) ruled that the case be returned to the Sports Judge of EuroLeague.
Now, with the dismissal of Olympiacos‘ appeal – once again due to insufficient evidence – the case got a long-awaited closure.
The case in question is regarding the accusations of Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos that Olympiacos “promised each of the referees 20.000”.
