Fenerbahce’s Nando De Colo spoke with Radio Marca about the season suspension caused by the coronavirus pandemic and mentioned that he would prefer EuroLeague not to resume action in the summer months, as the possible timeline suggests.
“We have been idle for a month and a half and I see it very difficult to play again. For me, the best thing would be to stop now and prepare better for next season because the most important thing is health,” De Colo mentioned.
“We have to take the positive out of this situation and that is that now we can spend much more time with the family. In Turkey, those under 20 cannot go out, but the rest of the people can go out and buy or give a walk,” he further explained.
EuroLeague will take the final decision on the future of the 2019-20 season by May 24.
