Zeljko Obradovic‘s arrival at Panathinaikos signaled the start of an ’empire’, as former greats Fragkiskos Alvertis, Oded Kattash, and Giorgos Kalaitzis tell in part two of their 20-year reunion-celebration of the 2000 title in Thessaloniki.
Despite the great success, it was a difficult time for Kattash, whose career ended prematurely a few months after the title due to a serious knee injury.
Watch as the three men share behind-the-scenes stories with the “comedian” Pat Burke, who tried to pursue a different career but was “too tall for a TV show” and bloopers like how coach Ettore Messina made Alvertis think twice of his coaching career by telling him that when he first started coaching, he had more hair!
