The 2019 EuroLeague Final Four MVP, Will Clyburn was the latest player to be featured on Eurohoops’ Lockdown Instagram series, and he talked about various topics regarding his career in Europe.
Above all, Clyburn gave an update on his ACL rehab: “I’ve had some ups and downs. Some days are good days, some days are bad days. For the rehab process of an ACL injury, you’re doing the same thing every day. The first 2-3 months is tough. After a while, it kind of picks up. I’m in my fifth month now and it’s been great. I’ve been able to be active, and act like a basketball player. It wasn’t an easy process. As of now, I have all the time in the world to get back healthy. There’s no rush for me”.
In addition, the 28-year old star talked about his first year in Europe with Ulm, making a move to Israel for Hapoel Holon, as well as signing a deal with David Blatt’s team at the time, Darrussafaka.
Finally, he also answered some rapid-fire questions, including the toughest defender, EuroLeague’s best-starting five, and the best trash-talker: “Chacho (Sergio Rodriguez) is a big trash-talker.”
