Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv is not planning for the future, the team clarified via a press release on Sunday.
In the wake of recent reports, the Israeli outlet once again during the coronavirus pandemic stressed that personnel decisions regarding contracts are not on the agenda.
“Maccabi is currently not taking any action on the next season and has not offered a contract to any player,” the announcement notes.
In addition, Maccabi mentions that the team is unable under the current situation to form a budget for the next season.
“These are certainly not conditions fit for a player to sign a new contract,” the Israeli club explains.
