Anthony Gill intends to leave Khimki Moscow Region and look for a different situation, according to Eurohoops sources.

He has set specific goals for his upcoming free agency while gaining interest from several Turkish Airlines EuroLeague teams.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, some NBA teams were eyeing him, but EuroLeague remains tops for his future. Gill staying in Khimki can’t be excluded, but at this point, it seems like a longshot.

Gill’s third Khimki run saw him play in 25 EuroLeague games up to the decision to suspend the 2019-20 season. He averaged 8.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per appearance. In addition, he posted 11.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per VTB United League game.

Another free agent coming out of Khimki, Devin Booker will have plenty of solid options to consider. The Russian club is decisive in making a strong extension offer to the Clemson alumni.

Booker averaged 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per EuroLeague match. He also put in 13.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per VTB game.

Overall, the market is moving slowly at the moment. Players in search of contracts are patiently awaiting developments regarding basketball resuming action.
