Turkish Airlines EuroLeague action can be in the picture for Lithuania.

Lithuanian prime minister, Saulius Skvernelis announced on Wednesday that professional sporting events can be held in the country from May 30, Lrytas.lt relays. The potential games will be conducted without fans.

This can apply for the final stage of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Euroleague Basketball is considering resuming action at one location with Lithuanian cities Kaunas and Vilnius among the candidates to host the remainder of the 2019-20 season. The decision is expected to announced on May 25.

LKL, Lithuania’s top-tier division, already canceled the remainder of the 2019-20 season proclaiming Zalgiris Kaunas as the champion.

From May 18, athletes can resume training in Lithuania keeping distance from each other following health guidelines implemented by the country’s health authorities.
