Teams drawing early looks into the next season as Valencia and KIROLBET Baskonia may target Jonathan Barreiro, according to Spanish outlet based in Valencia, Super Deporte.
Valencia does not hold a guaranteed spot for the 2020-21 edition of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and may compete in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Despite the uncertainty, the team is considering players for the 2020-21 season, including Barreiro.
The 23-year-old forward is set to become a free agent upon the conclusion of his contract with Casademont Zaragoza. He marked his fourth campaign at Zaragoza with 4.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per Basketball Champions League contest, and 7.3 points per ACB game, under head coach Porfirio Fisac.
Steadily improving since launching his professional career in Spain has additionally attracted the interest of another Spanish EuroLeague club, Baskonia, the report adds.
