On November 6, 2003, Lithuanian basketball great Arvydas Sabonis played his first EuroLeague game in eight years following his NBA stint with the Portland Trail Blazers.
At nearly 39 years of age, Sabonis stepped on the court in the season opener of Zalgiris Kaunas against Panathinaikos at home. He finished with 15 points and nine rebounds in 29 minutes to help his team get the win.
