EuroLeague and Spanish League will decide by the end of May on the fate of the 2019-20 season and Sergio Llull believes that they should do all they can to restart basketball:
“I believe that the return to the competition will be somewhat progressive, I believe that we have to make that effort, to try to restart the competition so that people in their homes spend at least two hours a day forgetting about this virus and being able to watch basketball,” Llull said in an interview with DAZN, per MARCA.
Real Madrid has started with individual practices and Llull explained how they are organized on the court:”We each have half a court, the ball is marked, no one can bounce you… We try to follow all the measures, all the protocol so that there is no risk of contagion.”
The 32-year-old guard has been recovering from an injury prior to the hiatus: “I was just about to reappear that week, I really wanted and I was very excited, but in the end, all this nightmare has happened and it is good to rest, try to take care of your body differently and now go back to training.”
