After the Spanish League season plays out (June 17 – 30, the targeted dates), Barcelona guard Kevin Pangos will become a free agent and he has been on the list of two EuroLeague squads – Valencia and Panathinaikos.
Both clubs are seriously considering adding the 27-year-old Canadian to their backcourt with the Greek side already being in advanced talks with Lorenzo Brown.
Panathinaikos has a vacancy in its backcourt due to parting ways with Nick Calathes who has reportedly agreed to a deal with Barca.
Pangos played only two games for Barcelona this season, early on in the ACB SuperCup, after which he suffered a left foot injury in practice. Despite the prognosis that the broken bone will keep him sidelined for four to six weeks, the Canadian has been out for the whole season.
