ASVEL announced that the team re-signed forward Guerschon Yabusele for the 2020-2021 season.
Yabusele, 24, arrived at ASVEL in February after spending the first part of 2019-2020 in China with the Nanjing Monkey Kings. The French player made two appearances in EuroLeague averaging 8.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in games vs. Valencia and Real Madrid.
In March, Yabusele scored 22 points in 25 minutes during his French Jeep Elite League season debut. He played one more game in which he dropped six points.
The Boston Celtics had selected Yabusele with the 16th overall pick in the 2016 Draft. In 74 NBA regular-season games from 2017 through 2019, he averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.1 minutes.
